When does Chequo launch?
Public launch is in the second half of 2026, in Italy and Spain at the same time. We are onboarding pilot restaurants in both countries now to refine the product with real operators ahead of the launch.
Is there a per-staff or per-tablet fee?
No. You pay one flat monthly price per location. Add as many tablets, kitchen displays, and staff PINs as you need.
What hardware do I need?
Any modern Android phone or tablet, or any iPhone or iPad. For shared terminals we recommend a 10" Android tablet with 4GB RAM (~€120), plus a network ESC/POS receipt printer. We can sell you a kit if you prefer.
Do you charge payment processing fees?
No — and we never take a percentage of your sales. Your subscription is one flat monthly price per location, full stop. Bring your own card terminal and processor; we integrate with the major Italian and Spanish acquirers and add more on request.
How does fiscalization work in Italy and Spain?
Chequo ships certified fiscal integrations for both launch markets. In Italy it sends corrispettivi telematici to the Agenzia delle Entrate automatically and generates electronic invoices (FatturaPA) on demand. In Spain it meets the VeriFactu requirements — every invoice is hash-chained, carries the mandatory QR code, and is reported to the AEAT. No certified hardware in either country; the trail is exportable for your commercialista or gestor.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans, cancel from your dashboard, no minimum commitment. Annual prepayment available with a discount.
What if my internet goes down during service?
Chequo is cloud-based, so a steady connection matters — but you have options. Supported hardware like the Z108 terminal has a built-in SIM that keeps the device online over cellular if your wifi drops, and your data is always saved in the cloud, never only on the device.
Can I use just the QR menu or reservations without the POS?
Yes. The QR menu and reservations are each available standalone at €20/month per location — no POS required. They’re also included in the POS plans (reservations comes with the Restaurant plan).
