Restaurant kitchen display: KDS, BDS and stations
How the Chequo kitchen display works.
The KDS runs on Android and on iOS, on the tablets you already own. On a phone it becomes the BDS — the Bar Display System — with the full board, landscape or upright.
Split prep across as many named stations as you need: kitchen, salads, bar, desserts. Each menu item is routed to its own, and each screen shows only that station's work.
Where several people share a station, claiming lets each person take their own tickets, so no drink gets made twice.
Every station chooses how its board works — whole order, per-item tickets, or item fulfillment — set in the back office or on the screen itself. And every display runs in whatever language its staff are most comfortable in.
Chequo is a point-of-sale system for restaurants.

- 1:00Whole order mode keeps the order together: one ticket, from New to In Progress to Ready, then away to the table.
- 1:11With per-item tickets mode, each line becomes its own ticket — so the starters go out while the steak is still cooking.
- 1:20Item fulfillment mode drops the columns. One board of cards — cooks tick items off, and the card clears on its last line.
- 1:31Every display runs in whatever language its staff are most comfortable in. The pass in English, the bar in Italian — one system, one menu.
